How can I update my name servers which registered from Dianahost?

To change the nameservers for your domain which registered from Dianahost, you will need to do the following:

Sign in to your Dianahostaccount
Click on the “My Domains” from left sidebar menu

Now click on the “Manage Domain”

In the next page go to “NameServer” and click on the “Update Nameservers”

You can choose from four possible options:

DianahostFreeDNS – if you wish to point your domain to our default nameservers

You can use this option if you want use free dns service. So you don’t need to run your own dns servers or no need to use your hosting provider dns server.
DianahostDirectAdmin – NS – if you have a directadmin based shared hosting plan with us and wish to point your domain to our hosting nameservers

NOTE: 1. Once the nameservers are changed, all the custom DNS records for your domain name will be overwritten to our hosting ones. You will be able to re-create them in your DirectAdmin DNS Management.

Don’t use this option if you don’t have DirectAdmin Hosting with us.
Dianahost cPanel-NS – if you have a cPanel based web hosting plan with us and wish to point your domain to our hosting nameservers

NOTE: 2. Once the nameservers are changed, all the custom DNS records for your domain name will be overwritten to our hosting ones. You will be able to re-create them in your cPanel Zone Editor.

Don’t use this option if you don’t have cPanel Based Hosting with us.
Dianahost BD-NS – if you have a BDIX based web hosting plan with us and wish to point your domain to our hosting nameservers

NOTE: 3. Once the nameservers are changed, all the custom DNS records for your domain name will be overwritten to our hosting ones. You will be able to re-create them in your cPanel Zone Editor.

Don’t use this option if you don’t have BDIX Based Hosting with us.
Customer NameServers – if you wish to point your domain to custom nameservers (for example, your Personal DNS servers or third-party hosting nameservers if your domain is hosted with another DNS provider). You will need to fill in your hosting nameservers to the empty lines and click on the save the changes button.
Nameservers changes do not propagate instantly. Once your nameservers are changed, it may take up to 72 hours (more, in rare cases) for local ISPs to update their DNS caches so that everyone can see your website.

You can always check your domain name using any Proxy server as Proxy servers do not store cache, thus you can see the non-cached information.

That’s it!
