How to Change Billing Cycle in WHMCS

In WHMCS, you can change the billing cycle of a hosting service (or other product/service) from the Admin Area. This allows you to adjust whether a client is billed monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc.

Step 1: Login to WHMCS Admin Panel

  1. Go to your WHMCS Admin URL (e.g., https://yourdomain.com/admin).

  2. Login with your Admin credentials.

Step 2: Locate the Client

  1. Navigate to:
    Clients → View/Search Clients

  2. Search for the client whose billing cycle you want to change.

  3. Click on the client’s name to open the profile.

Step 3: Access the Product/Service

  1. Go to Products/Services tab in the client profile.

  2. Find the relevant hosting service or product.

Step 4: Change Billing Cycle

  1. In the Product/Service Details page, locate the Billing Cycle dropdown.

  2. Select the new billing cycle:

    • Monthly

    • Quarterly

    • Semi-Annually

    • Annually

    • Biennially

    • Triennially

  3. Click Save Changes.

Step 5: Verify

  1. After saving, check the Next Due Date.

  2. Ensure the new billing cycle reflects correctly.

  3. Optionally, you can generate a new invoice to match the new billing cycle.
