In WHM, DNS zones store the DNS records for each domain hosted on your server. Sometimes you may need to delete a DNS zone, such as when a domain is no longer hosted on your server, or you want to reset and recreate its DNS configuration.

✅ Step 1: Log in to WHM

1. Open your browser and go to your WHM login URL (usually https://yourserverIP:2087).

2. Enter your username and password.

3. Click Login.

✅ Step 2: Navigate to DNS Functions

1. In the WHM search bar (top-left corner), type DNS Functions.

2. Click on Delete a DNS Zone.

✅ Step 3: Select the Domain

1. You will see a list of all domains with DNS zones on your server.

2. Tick the checkbox beside the domain name you want to delete.

✅ Step 4: Delete the DNS Zone

1. Scroll down and click the Delete button.

2. WHM will ask for confirmation.

3. Click Yes, Delete to confirm.

✅ Step 5: Verify Deletion

• The domain will no longer appear in the DNS zone list.

• DNS records for that domain will be removed from the server.

🔐 Important Notes

• Deleting a DNS zone will remove all DNS records for the domain.

• If the domain is still active, it may go offline until you set up DNS again.

• Always take a backup of DNS records before deletion in case you need to restore them later.
