When a client requests a Dedicated Server or VPS (Managed/Unmanaged), always collect the following details. This ensures clarity and avoids back-and-forth communication.



Essential Information to Ask from the Client

  1. Server Location

    • Bangladesh / Asia / Europe / USA

  2. Hardware Specifications

    • CPU (number of cores)

    • RAM (memory size)

    • Storage Type & Size (NVMe/SSD/HDD, capacity range)

  3. Bandwidth / Traffic

    • Expected monthly usage (e.g., 10 TB, 20 TB, unlimited)

    • BDIX connectivity required or only international bandwidth

  4. Operating System

    • Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, AlmaLinux)

    • Windows Server

  5. Control Panel

    • cPanel/WHM

    • Plesk

    • DirectAdmin

    • Webuzo

  6. IP Addresses

    • Number of dedicated IPv4 addresses required

  7. Server Management

    • Managed (our team handles updates, monitoring, and security)

    • Unmanaged (client manages everything themselves)

  8. Backup & Security Requirements

    • Automated backups
