Dear Client,
As we are currently managing your server and ensuring its smooth, secure, and stable operation, we kindly request that you do not perform the following actions using the root password or root-level access, unless explicitly approved or guided by our technical team:
❌ Actions You Must NOT Perform with Root Access:
Do NOT update or upgrade system packages (e.g., using yum update, apt upgrade, etc.)
→ This may cause service disruptions, software incompatibility, or system crash.
Do NOT change server configuration files manually
→ Incorrect changes to NGINX, Apache, MySQL, firewall, or DNS configurations can result in downtime or broken services.
Do NOT disable or uninstall critical services
→ Turning off services like SSH, firewall, database, or web servers can lock you out or crash your application.
Do NOT add, remove, or modify system users or permissions
→ This may break file ownership, cause login issues, or create security vulnerabilities.
Do NOT change root password or SSH port
→ If we lose access, emergency support may be delayed, affecting your uptime.
Do NOT install unknown or untrusted software
→ This can lead to malware infections, high CPU usage, or server compromise.
Do NOT modify or delete backup scripts, cron jobs, or automation
→ Disabling automated tasks might result in data loss, missed backups, or system failure.
Do NOT make DNS or hostname changes
→ This could disrupt domain resolution and make your site/email inaccessible.
Do NOT run unfamiliar shell commands or scripts from online sources
→ One wrong command can permanently delete data or open security holes.
Do NOT reboot, shut down, or reinstall the server OS
→ Improper restarts or reinstallation without preparation may result in complete data loss or extended downtime.
