What to Do If Python, Node.js, or Select PHP Version Is Not Working in cPanel

CageFS helps to keep users in a secure virtualized environment inside CloudLinux. If you need to enable or disable CageFS for a specific domain/user, you can do it easily from WHM.

✅ Step 1: Log in to WHM

  1. Go to your WHM login URL:

    https://yourserverip:2087
  2. Enter your root username and password.

  3. Click Log In.

✅ Step 2: Search for CloudLinux Manager

  1. In the WHM search bar (top-left corner), type:
    CloudLinux Manager

  2. Click on CloudLinux Manager from the search results.

✅ Step 3: Go to Users Tab

  1. Inside CloudLinux Manager, click on the Users tab.

  2. This will show all the cPanel accounts on your server.

✅ Step 4: Search Domain/User

  1. In the search box, type the domain name or username you want to find.

  2. The result will show that specific user’s account.

✅ Step 5: Enable or Disable CageFS

  1. In the user’s row, look at the CageFS column.

  2. To manage CageFS:

    • Click ON → to enable CageFS.

    • Click OFF → to disable CageFS.

  3. The change will be applied instantly.
